El Vez Round Two

Obviously, we can't get enough of El Vez. Since the last time we were here last year, it's nice to come back to this hip Mexican joint in center city Philadelphia to celebrate Iis's and Fenny's birthdays.
We had great food, drinks and of course great company.

Adios!

Speaking of Utah

Salt Lake City & Park City were the two cities I visited not too long ago. Such a beautiful scenery everywhere you turn. You can see mountains view from any directions within the city - something that I have never seen before.

Park City easily becomes a ski/snowboarding destination with all the ski resorts and the very cute Main St with a collection of cool restaurants and shops.

This trip also gained me an extra pound that I recently shed. Thanks to the all the delicious food from all the restaurants. I can't help myself. LOL! Hope you enjoy the pics.

Elizabeth Olsen for ASOS

Several months ago, last year, I posted this Nylon edition featuring Elizabeth Olsen. She is so flawless to say the least. The recent collaboration she did was with one of my favorite online store ASOS.

Babe Walker - White Girl Problems

Photobucket

I don't even know where to start. After a long anticipated time waiting for this book to be released (I pre-order the book from Amazon), I finally get my hands on to this book last week. I finished the entire book over the weekend (288 pages!!). For those who knows me well, this is a major accomplishment since I hate reading books. I do and I do. But this book was so hard to put down as soon as you start reading it - I was hooked. A great satire for the upper class women these days.

The author, Babe Walker (I don't think this is her real name) wrote the book as-is with no sugar coated, fluff language. She is so honest and calling things as it is. I'm so obsessed everything about her.

If you don't have anyone to be with or anything to do today (Valentine's Day), do yourself a favor and order this book and thank me later.

The Change

Due to some recent changes in my life, I am going through another move-out to a new place. Change is always scary and stressful, but I'm actually looking forward to this one. Lots of packing to do and lots of purging to do. The great thing about moving is that you're pushed into a situation to make hard decisions to keep or purge your things. Keeping only the essentials, and the other stuff out. Btw, do you know that show "Hoarding buried alive" ? I watched them several times, and believe me, each time I finished an episode I would look hard into my room and try to get rid of something. I'm so terrified after watching the show.

Anyways, I will be very busy in the next 4-6 weeks thus the less blog post for a while. I started the packing and purging phase last week, but it's challenging to do that when you don't know where you're moving yet. Finding a new home is not easy, but I'm confident that I will settle to a good place eventually.

In the meantime, here's from my iPhone photo stream as of late. If you know me well, you know that it'll be more food pictures than anything else... :D
