This set of pictures are from Tante Dita's Birthday Lunch at Asia Restaurant - Ritz Carlton Jakarta. Year after year, my big family has always been apart from all over the world. And this is probably one of the rare event where "most" of them are in the same city at the same time. We had everyone except my brother in Sydney and my cousin with her husband + baby Reggie in NYC, which is still more people than the usual time we had the chance to do a get together.

Great times and long live The Soeponos!

PS: Don't forget to check out my aunt's Pilates Studio in Jakarta at Pilates In Motion

Green Accessories

As you may know, I've been obsessing with the color greens/blues starting the Spring, which has not stopped me throughout the Summer as well. I've compiled several jeweleries that I scored so far. Most of them are super affordable from my local H&M and F21 ranging from $6-$15, and one is towards the more higher side (the huge green/gold ring on the left) which was purchased in Indonesia for about $90.

Do you have any color obsession this season?

Smokin' Bettys with the Girls

This is probably long overdue, but I wanted to post some pictures from the last brunch few weeks ago we did for Iis with the Indonesian Ladies before she departs to Denmark with her husband Flo for a new adventure!! We had brunch at this restaurant called Smokin' Bettys in Philadelphia.

I'm still Alive

So much had happened in the past 2-3 weeks. Life changing decision has been made and I'm picking up all the effects in the next 60 days. Will def. talked more about it in a later date. However, I've been just working away and preparing the things that needs to be prepared as best as I can.

Otherwise, I'm just enjoying the warm weather.
  1. I reconnected with an old college friend who came back in town. (Good to see you!)
  2. Did a lot of shopping as well. (Haul post coming soon!)
  3. Two friends are leaving the country for new adventures. (Denmark!)
  4. Mom is coming in to NYC in July for a week. (Yaay!)
  5. Did a girls night out and brunch in Philly in one weekend. (Fun fun fun!)

Blue Grass Bar & Grill

Hi guys, hope you all had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend! I spent the long weekend in NYC hibernating inside my cousin's house and baby Reggie with AC on blast. It was way too hot to do anything really! But I was glad to come back early in the day on Monday that I don't get hit by the heavy traffic coming back to DE.

The more days past by, the more I missed my Indonesia trip than ever. I miss the going out for dinners on weeknights in hip and cool restaurants with my cousin after hours. I miss ordering desserts randomly, just because. I miss having a driver driving me around the city. LOL!

Blue Grass Bar & Grill is one of the restaurant we went when I was there. Along with the crazy traffic and parking that night, we finally made it there at 9 pm (We were shooting for 7 pm really HA!). But it's all good, we came and got seated outside by the patio area.

It was rather refreshing to not feel hot outside given Jakarta's weather-like. It was indeed a nice breezy warm night. I really like this place.

We ordered two main course dishes and ended up with a rainbow cake for dessert.
